Meeting locations, times, and content are decided by each local chapter. A typical format is to meet every other month or quarterly from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and at a different host company each time. The host company’s provide meeting space and breakfast.
There are other organizations with chapters that have interest in workplace culture but the Academy is the only organization that fully focuses on the topic. There is no fee to attend meetings.
Meetings are interactive events and not just a speaker with a boring Power Point deck.
There is no fee to attend. Sustainably is based on exceptional useful programs where participants want to attend and not miss something important.
Chapters are self managed and operate independently with a strong and committed leadership team from it’s members. Each chapter does operate from a list of best practices that has been developed from chapter experiences. Click here to see those guidelines.
If you want to start a chapter in your city, we would love to help you. The starting place is a person who would like to be Chapter leader. It is not much work but it needs a person with two features. One is they have some flexible time, i.e., not tied to a desk from 9 to 5. They need freedom for example to talk on the phone about Chapter items during business hours. The other is the desire for the Chapter to succeed.
